£0 as I already own pretty much the whole of Steam after the raft of previous sales and specials.

The way I look on it is that I don't have the time to play many games properly, so I rarely buy any at full price. But I still appreciate the effort developers put into games. So the Steam (and other) sales allow me to buy games I hardly touch at a great price, and at least make a small contribution to to future of PC gaming.

I may be a cheapskate, but I still appreciate their efforts. :-) Plus I can play cheap games through on "easy" without feeling I've wasted money. For full price I expect to struggle a bit more and make an effort. For under a tenner I can sit back and enjoy the ride without having to play through the tough bits many times before I get it right.

Andrew McP... only Arma 2 Arrowhead (which I'll definitely not spend enough time with!) and Metro 2033... probably only as the new Crysis of Benchmarking tools.
 
Nothing :p My thinking is that it's only a few weeks away and then all the items that were on sale last week will be on sale for the same - if not better - prices :D
 
less than £10, just bc somethings cheap doesnt mean you should buy it.
i wonder how many people brought dirt2 that will never play it given that the 3rd one is out soon.

Only bought Left 4 Dead 2 here, usually end up buying more but found I already owned most the games or had no interest the others.

I think you got ripped off - I bought one of gimpy's Lead & Gold units for £1.50

I spent £46.80 that's logged in my account, but £40 was for a Just Cause 2 pack and I also bought Splinter Cell and Lead & Gold off others, which aren't logged there.
 
Nothing as I already owned all the decent games. Steam had nothing on this offer to temp me regardless of price many of the games were rubbish & some were only the same price as the reduced to clear retail :(

Doubt Steam sold many games overall on this round of deals as most PC gamers would have owned a lot of the games already. You have to wonder how long Steam can do these offers as well because retailors will not be happy about it :rolleyes:

And there CSRs are a complete waste of bloody space.

Have tried with multiple cards and methods still no luck. Gonna have to find

someone who can buy things to gift me a copy and pay them back via paypal. Not looking good though pretty annoyed about M&B :mad:

Get somebody else to buy them and then gift them to you. I had problems last night, it wouldn't let me buy anything..... but today at work I managed to get my purchases to go through.
