at part time job in a supermarket, by accident, I once shunted a womans face with a banana crate.

She shouted for a bit and it was all over... also the husband said " yeah don't worry, she will be fine".

How did they have the permissions to create the DB there? I know it has been done etc and I am sure there are a lot of questions but my worry would be that there are more like this out there! :o
 
Not caring about my GCSEs leading up to and during them. Not caring about college work for the whole two years I was there, I still passed the course, but I could've done a lot better.

I've made loads of mistakes and wrong choices but I'll keep the remainder to myself.
 
Texting the boss telling him he always left us in the **** when I meant to send it to my colleague about my boss. Thankfully, my managing director backed me up lol.

looks like you can just run the installer then it says you need SQL to be installed or use existing qualifying instances of SQL. it then displays a list including SIMS and backup software, looks like whatever you choose will be where the database sits.
 
Once locked a site of 500 people out of their PCs and servers by doing something rather daft with group policy on the live system.

Never again!
 
Helped move a friend to Denmark, before he plugged in his PC I though I had to change the PSU to 110v for outside the UK. A loud bang and cloud of smoke later, my theory was disproved, cue me looking rather sheepish and agreeing to buy him a new one.
 
I really should minimise explorer in a different way in future....:(

Do you know who originally installed the finance software?
 
I didn't send the payrole transfer file along with the timesheet yesterday afternoon.

I have no idea how much if any effect this has on the peoples pay but quite frankly don't care.

Not my biggest but my most recent.

Having said that when making my final peice at university (which was bespoke dinning chair that I had spent months planning and weeks making) I managed to saw almost down to the bone of my finger with a Japanese pull saw and then a few weeks later managed to dril right through something I only needed to go half way through. That was a big /facepalm.

Porking one of the lasses I was supposed to live with in my final year who then fell out with the other 2 I was living with left us with quite a nasty situation. Wasn't the sole reason for the upset but it didn't help matters.
 
getting heavily involved with drinking and using drugs at 17/18, which has left me with crippling anxiety/depression issues and all sorts of problems.
 
Thinking you were doing the right thing only for it to come back on you and completely destroy your life....

Every other mistake in my life is pretty insignificant in comparison.
