***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

what level is everyone at, Someone i know is at level 23 and completed all the A-spec events except the last 2 in Extreme and is just having to grind for xp and cash plus hoping that a Formula Gran Turismo is going to appear in the used car dealership surely you aren't going to have to grind this much?

At level 25 you unlock the endurance series with 8 endurance races in there, you will probably have to grind quite a bit towards the later stages though...

There will be a lot of grinding unfortunately, you have to buy specialist cars for some of the last races and they cost £££s. The speedway races are a quick way of getting cash though.

70's Dodge Challenger, fully tuned and race modded :)

LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH '74 tuned to the max

Or get that Jag above

This is the most frustrating race, im trying it in a countach and keep getting bumped on the last lap.

I have a Countach LP400 '74 I won from some event I could use. Will it be useful for other races? I guess upgrading it to the max while be costly :(

Edit: Can't see 70's Dodge challenger anywhere (Used car I assume) and dunno what Jag is being talked about by griffo_001

That sounds like it might be very wheel spinny and not very good through the corners, is that true? I'm gonna amass about 200,000 more and then I'll buy it, currently on 1.3 million but I don't want to squander that away if the Challenger turns out to be crap in the bends.

:p

Its the XJ13 chrome line car you posted about earlier :p its a '66 Le Mans car, however my chrome line cars don't have ages, so I can't use them in races they should be eligible for :(

The Challenger is new, all cars that can be race modified are new cars :)

Could you lend me the Countach LP400 please? lol
I will, presumably, max it out, is that OK for the race you need it for. I already Gifted 1 car today (a return of a car someone lent me!!). Can I gift you the maxed out Countach after midnight (will mean you won't get your Gallardo back till Friday-ish.).

Anyone know which car I could buy which has a Gold colour?

I want to respray my skyline to Gold you see.

:p

Its actually brilliant, fully tuned it puts out 767bhp and its a joy to drive  Ithought it would handle like a brick as well but was pleasantly surprised! Looks epic in Hemi Orange :D

@rp2000 the Challenger is a new car you buy from the dealer.

Maybe i'm missing something but is there no way to test drive a car before you buy it?
Seems pretty silly having to spend thousands on a car only to find out that it's pants :(

Right on B-Spec is the aim to keep your drivers bar where he feels most comfortable? So a hot headed driver likes to be in the red and a cool headed driver needs to be in the blue?

I have two drivers with the exact same cool/hot rating, however one of them completely drains both his physical and mental strength bars before the end of a race whereas the other never has:confused:
