Question.

When doing B Spec events, sometimes you have to have Sports tyres rather than racing... Once I've purchased the sport tyres and raced in them, I want to put the racing tyres back on. However, when going into the garage and going to tuning, it only lists the tyres available to me but doesn't let me select them. How do I do this?

Its also frustrating when I'm rushing trying to buy new parts then accidentally choose not to install them. It says they are saved to my spare parts list. However I can't see the parts when I go to my garage to try and install them. This happened just recently with a weight reduction stage. When I tried to buy it again, it charged me another 5000 credits even though I was told I had one already...

Please help!

You do realise that some girls with small breasts don't want small breasts, don't you?

You do realise that girls don't generally have breasts, women do, and that some girls have distorted images
of how a woman ought to be because immature boys think that real women are like Jordan, which leads
some impressionable and insecure girls to feel inferior and end up with body dysmorphic disorder, anorexia
and bulimia ? Still, as long as it's not your daughter or your sister who is afflicted, that's ok ;)

GT5 is mint though.

You should be able to set any tyres you have acquired on the Driving Options bit on the pre race screen. Any parts that have been stored can be found in the Items page, it's the button to the left of the Garage in GT Life, you can install any parts you have to your current car there.

Is it race modified? You'll know if it is

I've done everything possible to it, starting with the race modification and then adding the engine parts etc, oh and of course soft racing tyres. The Toyota 7 just blitzes down that straight on Deep Forest, I've managed to win at Monaco but this Deep Forest is a pain in the ass.

:(

I've finished all beginner/amateur/professional series events, currently at level 20.

Still got Historic Racing Car Cup (Expert) to do, can anyone recommend a suitable car?

Also the best i managed in Gran Turismo All stars in my tuned Veyron was Silver, makes a mess of them on straights, but its not ideal cornering vs race cars, what did you guys use?

You did ask first so it seems only fair, gimme a couple of minutes :) If you could send it to RP then RP return it to me?

All getting very confusing!! I have a Countach, just need to upgrade it, so I will use that, rather than borrow another car.

I never thought I would say this, but borrowing/lending cars is hassle!! Grief having to remember who gave you what and return 1 a day!!

Sometimes I feel like I want to cry watching my B spec driver. So to my driver I wish to say this

"Mr H Robertson I know you haven't been driving for me for long but please when I tell you to overtake this does not mean you can floor the gas pedal in my 800 BHP BUICK 62 special" I should not have to tell you to maintain pace the whole race because you can't handle the car. I am sure in future races you will improve but your driving skills quite frankly are appalling!"

Had to get that of my chest sorry lol

You can clear the cache to get around the 1 a day thing :D

I tried that last night and it didn't work. I lent my friend a car, cleared the cache in the options, went to the XMB, came back in game and tried sending another car and it just gave me the message saying I'd already sent a car today.

I used the Mazda Stealth 787b that i had the code for. 880hp. Won the races easily.:D

apologies if this has already been posted...

Kazunori Yamauchi has been fielding questions from fans on Twitter over the past few hours. The tweets are in Japanese, but with a little help from Google and medhi_san, we can get a pretty good idea of what he’s talking about. Here’s the highlights:

  • Flexible camera angles and “dynamic and wide-area lighting needs” are to blame for the sometimes blocky shadows. Yamauchi admits they are a problem and wants to improve them.
  • Yamauchi appears to consider the possibility of removing the in-game HUD (heads-up-display features) at some point in the future.
  • To unlock the Red Bull X1, you’ll need to complete the “Sebastian Vettel Challenge”, which appears at Level 30.
  • Online “lounge” functionality and other features will be added “one by one”.
  • Polyphony Digital continues to work on fully supporting the Logitech G25 and G27, though Yamauchi admits he would like a “new steering device soon”…
  • Mechanical damage options will be implemented in a new update for GT5 coming “early December”.
  • As you may know, many players noticed that GT5’s face-tracking functionality only worked in Arcade mode. According to Yamauchi, it’s not available in GT mode due to memory issues with the PS3.
  • In-game rewards (such as the monetary prize in GT5 Prologue) for your performance in online events is something Polyphony Digital is considering, and may be implemented in a future update.
  • Gran Turismo 5’s official, 2-disc sound-track will be released soon.
  • Yamauchi wanted to implement a “free roam” gameplay mode in GT5, where players could drive around, respecting speed limits and obeying traffic laws, and even exit the car to walk around and explore the environment on foot.
