***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

lol!

Never even had an Audi TT in the game, only things out at the moment is a Gallardo which rp2000 has and a F150 pickup truck.

Grrrrrrrr, I've gone to the god dam 2nd hand car dealership about 50 times now to only find nothing I need.

I've nearly completed expert but amateur I need a god dam pickup truck.

Otherwise, progressing slowly... other things need to be done unfortunately :(

Just complete the I-A license, you get a Dodge RAM for all bronze.

Don't know whether to grind the extra 2 million (20 Superspeedway events) so that I can finally afford the F1 car or whether I should just blow all my cash replacing the Ferrari's that I had to sell earlier in the game...

:(

Has anyone noticed any difference in handling by doing restore body rigidity? Can't say I have with racing soft tyres and rigidity upgrade in the chassis section. I usually do it for my cheaper cars just because it's cheaper, but it can get ridiculously expensive, it seems it's always half the price of the car...500,000 credits to restore the rigidity on my Enzo, no thanks.

It seems silly and is always an option even on brand new cars, something I'd never use especially at that price. Might work better on older cars however, pre-70s or something.

Well just won a Zonda R on B Spec and it is now my new favourite car! Comes pretty much upgraded, just a few late engine upgrades etc and racing slick (soft) tyres. The noise it makes is incredible, especially when you brake hard, fire out of the exhaust and "thuup thuup thuup"!

Good God the AI in this game is a slap in the face and an insult. B-Spec is completely unplayable because of it. My idiot driver simply does not want to win races. He goes behind the first car and he just hits the breaks or bumps onto it. He is lvl 11 and the race is for lvl 6 and he still can't win with a car that has pretty much everything upgraded without going overboard with HP. There is no mention how many times i have seen him go flat out on a straight, only to hit the brakes for no apparent reason just as he is ready to overtake. Like he got scared of the speed or the other driver paid him to slow down.
Seriously the man responsible for the AI and B-Spec needs to lose a few teeth by means of knuckles meeting lips...

Played this a lot yesterday, took forty minutes to install and even then it is slow loading through the menus.

Will be trading it in I think, just doesn't feel the same to me as Forza :(.

What B-Spec level and what race did you get that on?

Why would you want it to feel the same as Forza?

I want it to stand up to Forza, yes, but I want it to be Gran Turismo through and through.

Also @ Marco; nice chair! I swear every family in the UK either owns one or has owned one :D
