Audi a3

Of course the Audi has a better image. Whether its justified or not is another matter but the Audi is a premium brand car.

I've got one of those so I want to agree with you. However it's a brand new model and they've been facelifting the A3 for millenia. If they released a brand new A3 and a brand new Golf tomorrow, the A3 would trump the Golf in the image stakes. They've just got a better image amongst youngsters in particular in my view. I certainly see more young people driving A3s than I do Golfs.

I remember being lambasted for leaving my reg year visible on my car photos, so presumably the same crowds will be piling in on you any second.

Im not showing off Robbie i dont give a toss about that car, i only bought it to sell, i left the reg on to show its age, best they start moaning

I looked at the Golf and the A3 when I was picking a company car and thought the Audi was nicer inside and out. The Golf looked a bit lardy for my liking. [Badge snob moment]Plus if you're not paying for it..why pick a VW if you can have an Audi? [/Badge snob moment]

I'd take an Octavia vRS though. Love them! See I'm not really a badge snob.

Me neither but i do draw the line at Skoda
