From a quick snowey inspection, underside of the boot is buckled upwards inside the car, the entire rear axle has been pushed about 6inches across, the wheel hub has sheered completely off the axle and both shocks have come off from what i can see. Wheels are both badly scratched, exhaust is bent, both rear panels, bumper and boot will need replacing. Safe to say a write off... Insurance has already been sorted, as i was parked up im completely not to blame of course. Just cleared the car out of all my stuff, absolutely gutted :(

Ouch! Someone approached the junction far too quickly and hammered on the anchors. :(

Sorry to see that mate, haven't you just got this as well? (sorry to add more woe!)

Wow that is some quite impressively bad driving to smash into you right there. Glad you got the other drivers details. How bad was their car out of interest?

Don't let the parking space with no snow on fool you, i wasn't parked over that. I was parked so my rear wheel was level with the lamp post. Guy came down the hill, lost control and plowed straight into my rear quarter

Car was parked up? So as no damage anywhere else showing someone shunted you, do we take it the pole moved and hit you up the ass?

Won't even need T-Cut.
Can't see the damage.

Unlucky OP, insurance will pay out fully, or is it write off?

My dad has known the guy for 40 years, so no problems in that department, other car was an avensis and hardly damaged, if it wasn't for the lamp post i would say the worst would be a new rear quarter panel and maybe a buckled wheel. :( Kinetic energy ftl

Got it in july, so yeah, not had it very long.

Getting the car picked up tonight and having a hire car dropped off, not sure whats happening yet, i would be highly suprised if its not a write off.

Please tell me you didnt think it was a good idea to park directly opposite a junction at the bottom of a hill in the snow :(

Really feel for you, as its obvious you liked the car. But todays lesson is all about defensive parking.

Yikes! Be glad the guy owned up, the amount of ****** leaving the scene this time of year must be pretty high. In my professional opinion, that looks absolutely cream crackered mate!
