Hiya, I know this might appear retarded but there was about 2 inches on the ground yesterday and overnight another 5 ish inches have fallen, we were able to get up the driveway before but the compacted snow has frozen a 2 inch solid layer of ice on the gravel/dirt driveway which means I cant get either of my cars out the drive.

any tips on clearing the ice? tried hot water and hitting itwith a pick axe, the water thing was stupid as it just refroze thicker :o

ifd you have to use boiling water to remove ice, put a bucket load of salt in it, wont be perfect but wont freeze over a quarter as much

Pour gallons of boiling hot water over it... screw the other people who then slip to their death on your ice rink which forms once refrozen.
