Hello, which cable i need to get for this connection that supports audio?

which ever one says it supports audio.... Only the newest april '10 models do audio over hdmi, and Apple broke it in an update recently. Not sure if it's been fixed yet. I got one on Ebay for £7. Literally plug it in and bang, macbook display on my plasma didn't even need to press a button.

I wonder though if its possible to have a spanned display rather than a cloned display? Anyone know how?

I have one on my Mac Mini, connected to my Pioneer 60" Kuro

I use a MDP -> DVI and then a DVI->HDMI adapter I got with an ATI graphics card. Works fine, but as stated already - no audio.

If your MBP is that age it will carry audio, Neet do one as stated, so do a company called Moshi

i might have a NEET cable that i could be getting rid of soon as my MBP is been replaced as a HTPC with a Mac mini with HDMI so i have no need for the cable its a Minidisplay port+USB audio to hdmi
