Upgrade from HD4850 for ~£150

Hi,

I'm looking for an upgrade from my Asus HD4850 512MB for around the £150 price point.

I bought the card as part of my new-build last year but I've had no end of driver issues (frequent bluescreens which lead me to believe the card is the weak link). So I don't intend to use it for Crossfire.

I've no particular preference for NVIDEA/ATI cards (as long as its stable). A performance boost (and something a bit quieter) would be a nice. Any suggestions?

My build (more|less):

Antec P183
Q6700
Corsair 4GB DDR2
Asus P5Q-E
Asus HD4850
Samsung 19" monitor
Corsair 650W PSU
Arctic cooling something or other

Cheers

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards either a GTX 460 1GB or HD6850 1GB.

I can source a Sapphire 6850 for just under £150 and the EVGA 460 for around £160

Any reason to go for the 1GB 460 over the same 758MB model given my system specs? Any potential compatabilty issues for either card (running Win 7 64bit)?

I would say 6850 but only if you were to looking to get another for xfire. They are staggering in xfire.

But with a 19" monitor I would say the cheapest 768mb GTX 460 you can find
