Just got my first house, I should be moving in around 10days time. I have nothing except a TV/Laptop/Bed & Cloths.

I have just ordered a Hoover which made me feel pretty darn old. lol

What else, getting Cutlery set for Xmas. Sofa ill wait until new year.

What else?????
 
Clothes hamper
Towels
Bog brush
mirror
loo role
cleaning stuff
fridge/freezer
washing machine (and tablets)
kitchen roll
tea towel
roasting dish
bins (bathroom, kitchen and others)
lamps
bedside table
curtains


essentially look around your house where you are living, write down anything you want, go to shop and buy!
 
Washing machine. Order the sofa now - they often have long lead times (expect around 12 weeks).
 
Saucepans, plates, cleaning products, house phone if you want one.

Take a stroll round your current dwellings and make a list
 
If you have a date for moving in get your internet and tv service sorted, i good quality kettle and a years supply of tbags along with a couple of bean bags - your sorted :)

Don't buy a brand new sofa, major waste of money. 2nd hand sofas are the way to go. A three year old £900 might be £100 2nd hand and still in great condition.

Kitchen knives,
Garlic press,
Kitchen roll,
Chopping boards,
Saucepans,
Frying pan,
Scissors,
Sellotape,
Tupperware,
Potato masher,
Oven gloves,
Mixing bowls,
Baking trays,
Washing up brush,

That's just in the kitchen...
 
clv101, I will start to look in my local paper for a sofa then. Keep me covered until i decorate,

Man i need to get a van go tesco lol
 
Get yourself a nice tesco value cutlery set for about £3.
Bottle/Can opener are essential too :)
