program runs tonight from 2am untill 5am live on spikeTV

i think brookins has much more technical ability than johnson and will win by rear naked choke.

Yea defo calling it for Brookins, dude's got so much experience and has fought some of the best already (Aldo).

Looking forward to an all out war with Bonnar, and Maia choking out Kendall Grove.

Hopefully they'll show Nam's fight at FW with Leonard Garcia as well

Someone got absolutely ******* robbed, **** judging yet again

That is all

Is that your own opinion or just jumping on the bandwagon? I feel I have to play devils advocate here as lots of people seem to be slating the decision without really backing up their opinion. I do agree it was questionable but it really wasn't as clear cut as people are making out.

There's a gif floating about that showed the decision being announced and the various reactions, and Greg Jackson's was quite interesting to say the decision went in their favour.

Well I would back it up but I'm unsure of how spoilers are for this event.

Whilst the winner was the aggressor throughout, he lost on every single tussle and got rocked throughout.

Hell at the end of one round the loser had his back for over 2 mins

How is that worthy of a 29-28 29-28 against him

Just so you know I don't jump on these bandwagons, I fully called rampage getting the split win at the last event, but could see it was possibly controversial. This fight was much more clear cut !

That's what we were hinting at ;) lol But definitely bs, I was very against the Hendricks/Story fight too !

If this doesn't change the way the athletic commission assigns judges I hope it at least pushes fighters to finish more

I hope it does push fighters to finish more or at least go for it right to the end. Regarding the Nam fight it probably was called wrong I just like to try and look at things from both sides and get other people's reasons for their opinions, yours being perfectly valid.

I had a look on sherdog forums to see how they were reacting and anyone who favoured Garcia seemed to be getting classed as morons for even daring to have an opinion.

Enjoyed the finale and was glad to see Brookins get the decision, thought he came across pretty well throughout TUF. Very much in the minority but I wasn't as surprised to see the decision go to Garcia, thought he done enough in rounds 1 & 3 to sway it, would maybe need to watch it again. Guess there's always a job for me on the Athletics Commison or whatever it's called as judge. :)
Kinda annoys me though the booing that goes on, I know it's at the decision but it's not Garcias fault and it doesn't do the fighters any favours especially after putting on a decent show. Glad to be able to watch some of those WEC fighters now, really enjoy watching some of the lighter weights.

I enjoyed the finale aswell overall. I think I'm definitely in the minority when I say I want Koscheck to win next week. He's a complete moron but I love how he winds people up and really want him to annoy 20k fans there supporting GSP :p

Doubt it will happen though

Majority of MMA crowds really **** me off, booing cause they're grappling, booing a bad decision..It's not the fighters fault !

I have a bad feeling about next week :(

I honestly thought the Phan v Garcia fight was a draw, or split just about in Phan's favour, was pretty suprised to be honest.

I think the ufc will keep him on though since he puts on a great show every fight so far.

And im starting to think GSP v Koshceck is going to be a very close fight, but im hoping im wrong there and koshcheck taps to some nasty sub :p

It seems an ever increasing problem that the guy that is more aggressive but hits nothing seems to get the decision victory.

Something has to change as imo, that was a horrible decision.

Gotta be about the fifth dodgy decision i've seen Garcia get recently, it just seems to happen over and over again, but this was probably the most one sided of all. Quite enjoyed the show other than that.

I too was baffeled by that Garcia obviously was taking deep breaths and looked tired and worn out but he was still striking and throwing punches and a take down...

Obviously Nam who oddly I wanted him to win and go further looked great but yeah I felt it was pretty even, could have gone either way I just feel Garcia was showing more control/aggression and striking out against him.... sorta in Rampage moment so to speak.

Maybe need to watch it again tbh....

Anyhow good news is Nam got awarded a fight bonus, all tuf guys got $8k if not $8K bonuses and even cody got $30k performance bonus !

Im sure Nam will be back for putting on a good fight and im glad to see ufc keeping the guys that put on a good show dispite loosing over people that dont fight or bother on the night...

Yeah Strikeforce put on a good show oddly, would have prefered to see overeems bro fight, but to see bigfoot silva was quality the guys hands and feet are oversized you would simply die from eating all that glove size !
Henderson fight was predictable but a good win regardless...

Anyhow this sat we got the last MMA event of 2010 and im with Illusion, I dunno I got a feeling Kosh has got GSP so wound up its gonna work against him this weekend !
