Team have flown an R.C. Plane above NYC

Pretty astonishing that the authorities took to it so lightly. I do wish that next time, they would fly 'down' the Empire State building, or down the Rockefeller and over central park. Not sure how much controversy it would gather though!

This is awesomesauce, seems like they're only touching the tip of the iceberg here, with the main attraction being the statue of liberty - can't believe how close they get to it!

doess look pretty sweet but it was really only the bay and around not actually in . still decent though. was bit misleading thought he was going to go in between skyscprapers and i was wondering how hed pulled off that with security must be very tight.

Amazed they were able to get away with it as America seems to be consumed by paranoia.

Can just imagine what the people were thinking sat on the riverside benches with that thing buzzing about

Saw this a few days ago. Very impressive. I guess flying in between the buildings is too dangerous due to the wind currents that develop between them.

It is definitely brilliant that the co-operated rather than restricting them

I just hope we can see one go in between the skyscrapers, but that may scare a lot of people :eek:

Im the same - what seems to be attempted doesnt seem that difficult - cool all the same but feels like an anticlimax really...

Love how it was carefully planned but they made no attempt to notify official channels what they were doing

It's not the fact that it could be a bomb but the fact that if he hits something or it gets caught in a gust and falls to ground injuring someone. Still it is an amazing video.

Awesome video but without getting clearance from the authorities, that really was a dodgy thing to be doing in NYC of all places....!!

Could quite easily have been malicious and opened up the road for more people to try it.
