Gaming laptop (15.4") required. Max £900.

My brother is on the search for a new laptop. He wants to play the latest games and the examples he gave included Empire Total War, BFBC2 and other strategy games.

I'm a shade out of touch but i am assuming he requires an i5/i7 laptop? Not sure about the GFX either.

So, ideas? He was looking at Alienware but i steered him well clear because of their overpricing and a few complaints i have heard about them. I suggested Dell but he isn't entirely sure.

So, ideas?

If he can get another £15 then the MSI G660 from here is what he wants. It's basically the same spec as you'd get from Alienware for about £1800 odd. For the price it is 100% unbeatable for performance.

GO for it m8. 660R* you won't regret it.

Things to consider: no bluray. Anyway you don't need one

Future: you can upgrade your RAM 12 GB

or HDD more hehe

not now. In future of course, blu ray price will be around £30 to 40. no doubt soon. Lets give it few months
