New Volvo S60.... erm....

No, it's actually a Pontiac Fiero.
Or a Bugatti Veyron.

It looks a damn sight better in the flesh, in a dark colour with big wheels.

I believe VBH reviewed the latest shape S60 on 5th Gear recently, if telly reviews float your boat. Have yet to see one in the flesh and I'm still undecided whether I like the new one yet.

I colleague's just bought a brand new V60.
I don't really see the point of it though. It's bigger than a V50 and smaller than a V70. Why does it even exist?

He claims it's more of a 'sporty' car than the x50 and x70, but come on, it's a Volvo with a diesel lump!

Yea I always think that about pointless cars like, say, the E Class Merc. I don't really see the point of that, either. It's bigger than a C Class and smaller than an S Class. Why does it even exist?

I think it looks ugly, and about the pointless models, Fox has got a point about the C class E class thing.

One thing I don't get though is the new Audi A7, I mean what is the point in that, if you want an audi coupe you get the A5.

Fox you are being sarcastic right?

It's effectively a 4 Series estate.
Or a D Class.
Or an A4¾ Avant.

I think the v50 is being discontinued very shortly so it will take its place.

I do like the look of this new s60 but it does have to be in a dark blue or black to look nice.

I've just noticed something on the Volvo rival comparer tool, even though they are cheaper than BMW'S and Mercs, they consume more fuel and the tax is higher.

In my opinion the only reason to buy a Volvo is if you want an estate or you want to feel unique.
