I would hope they are going to deliver better performing drivers....

However the sceptic in me thinks it will probably just be a reskinned CCC or something similar.

Although this could just be ATI trying to get people to look their way a bit when the new GTX's launch and ATI have nothing of their own due to delays!
 
Can't wait till they come out and to see what they do for my 6870, at the moment stuck with 10.10's..

Does the 10.10e fix the clock profiles bug? I mean the one you get if you're running a 3d app (game) then open a gpu accelerated program video the card drops to the 2d clocks.

Have AMD said that its is a bug & that it needs fixing as that would assume that they intended for games to run full screen/windowed & for videos to be played at the same time which is a rarity & not something most people would think about doing even with multi screen setups.

So unless you have been told by AMD that it is a bug & that they are looking into i would not hold your breath.

It's not a bug as far as I know, GPU accelerated video uses the VPU which runs at 400/900 on the 5800 series so it has to drop clocks, disable acceleration for flash or whatever video type you're watching if you don't want it to drop clocks.
 
I have been using the AMD Catalyst Von Modded (v2) 10.11 Drivers for a few weeks now.

Best driver I've used so far, no CTD on BFBC2 any more, MLAA available on 5*** series and a general all round improvement.

10.12 will have to be very very special for me to change.
