So I was thinking my Sidewinder 2 has started to die, the middle button doesn't work so good anymore after a year or so of use.
I liked the Sidewinder 2, I liked the weight (quite heavy) and I liked the size (fat n chunky). I play games with the sensitivity low for those head shots. Can someone give some advice about a mouse that might be worth trying?
I don't mind wireless or wired.
I want a nice big mouse like the Sidewinder.
It needs to be heavy.
Also looking at my mouse should make fellow lan gamers tremble in fear, evacuate their bowels and run to the far away hills. ta

I can highly reccomend the Logitech G500.

Adjustable weight package to tailor it to your preference, and adjustable DPI settings, dont know if it will cause other people "bowel" issues,:D. But ive found it to be a very good mouse.:)

+1 on the G500, got one after a trusty 5year old MX518 died.
Nice feeling, feels solid and nicely built. Only disadvantage is getting used to the small buttons on the side, but once u do, its nothing to hold u back.
Great software as well, with many configuration options.

+1 also!!

Looking to upgrade from my 1st generation deathadder, the 1800dpi version. The Middle mouse button doesn't register the clickable function anymore, but it does register the scroll which is ok, but its not a gaming mouse with a faulty button, not bothering to try and fix it, just going to keep it until i get my netbook next year :).

Also nice to see the G500 at less than £30, real bonus now, get it whilst you can!

Sounds like you need an X8. It's awesome.

Hi mate I recommend the Logitech G500 Best mouse money can buy imo, i've been using it for 6 months now and i'm very happy with it. Excellent build quality, good software, adjustable DPI settings at a touch of a button, hyper scroll etc..
