Guess who popped into work today

Not me in the photo, a colleague. Was a little confused why he was there to be honest and had to do a double take when I saw him.

Bought 2 macbook pro's. One for his PA, one for his Mum as christmas presents.

Then left to go to the nearby private airport to fly somewhere nice lol.

Is that the Farnborough store? Assumed so since you talk of the nearby local airport being 30 seconds up the road. I'm not far from you, but don't tend to visit your store if I can avoid it. :)

Yeah it is. I'm not there out of choice. It's only so I can run my car whilst at uni.

It's better than most others tbh as the staff are much better, but it is still a *computer store* at the end of the day.

I'd edit that word out as it's a competitor and you might get banned. By the way, I wasn't "dissing" you working there at all. Not in the slightest. Everyone has to make a living. It obviously has a bad rep on here because this is a very computer literate forum where people will know what they need/want to buy very specifically online.
I just mean I tend not to go in there if I can avoid it, because I just know that you can get things cheaper online almost everywhere. Occasionally I'll wonder in for emergency items though. :) Obviously if you are Lewis, it's a case of being in and out asap and probably not even checking the price tag.

We are big Maclaren fans in our family and really like Lewis and Jenson. They are great guys. One of my family members works for Mclaren as well.

Did you chat to him?

Did you ask him any questions about F1? :)

I am sure I read that Lewis has a sponsorship deal with a private jet company. His payment for being their 'face' as it were is free flights, as and when required. Nice deal

nice of you to quote it for him :p

I had to buy some double layer dvd's from a similar establishment, £39.99 for 20

I felt physically raped :(

LOL
I once went in there similarly for the same thing, DVDRs and got to the till and decided it was just too much. I have a thing with buying stuff I KNOW I can get much cheaper online.

Ooops good point. I removed the quote.
