Fan controler and 4 120mm fans

been looking to get a new controller and 4 fans for my new build. I was looking at this fan controller

I also need 4fans though I could do with some input, Ideally I think they are going in a dark purple case, I'd like them to look good, be quite if possible and be cheap without being to cheap if that makes sense

They are all about bling and are reasonably quiet too apparently.

Not quite sure which colour would go with purple. Silver or blue perhaps?

Maybe some plain fans painted up?

shame there aren't any purple ones, do you think i should do down the route of light up fans or would it be light overkill and look tacky

It's your case, your call, but I say bling, or at least switchable bling like I have.

As I said you can pick up some plain fans and colour the blades to match your case colour, lots of people do it and it doesn't seem to adversely affect the performance of the fan. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on fans to paint though.

i've just clicked your link, thats awesome. looks like i'm painting my fans to match the catch and then lighting them up. might as well have custom fans to go with a custom case

what plain fans would you recommend

Yates http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-003-YL&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=4 Can't really go wrong at that price. I don't have one but they are very good for the price apparently. Quiet too at that rpm.

+1 for yates, cheap as chips and good airflow, i dont see the point in spending a lot of money on case fans, cpu cooler/rad fans id go a bit higher though. Got 6 yates in my case, cost £4-5.00 each.
