So, does anyone have anything they have their eye on for Christmas? Dannyjo22 has treated himself to a nice shiny new 70-200mm f2.8 mkII, anyone else expecting something nice for Christmas?

I'm thinking of either a Sigma 30mm f1.4 or getting a Canon 85mm f1.8 again. Should be a similar price second hand, and ultimately I will have both of these, just need to pick which one to get first! These will be a treat for myself, but I'd like them for capturing Christmas :) That would be my kitbag sorted for the foreseeable future as well.

edit: Just realised that the 85mm is a bit close to the 100mm lens I have on the way, so 30mm f1.4 it is!

Sigma 30mm f1.4... I have the money now but I'm sure if I spend it, something will break or come up which require that money. Just have to wait till Feb when my finance is more stable. So my wish list is, have some patience till Feb!!
 
I'm also considering picking up the 30mm F/1.4, although the 20mm F/1.8 is tempting.

Thinking of getting a Fisheye or Sigma 17-70mm F/2.8 as well.

Decisions, decisions!
 
A DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL [IF] SDM. Chances of Santa bringing me one are slim to none though :(

(chances of me treating myself are significantly higher :D)
 
Not sure, might ask Dad for a 50mm 1.4 Siggy...we'll see.

And I've just had mine anyway... ;)

Been toying with an idea of getting another prime, thought of upgrading the nifty fifty to 1.4 at first but think money would be spend more wisely right now with 85mm f/1.8. Only issue is that I have little money so Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 would have to go which I just got!
 
I have a wishlist but I cant justify the 70 - 200 just yet. might treat myself to a second flash and a softbox or two and see if i can get some results using flashes seeing as the footy isn't up to much. Ah well, looks like I'll have to treat myself next year instead :(
 
I wouldn't say no if someone gives me a 100/2.8L Macro IS or an 85L 1.2 :p

Apart from that, I am quite happy with what I have :)
 
Canon 580EX II hopefully.

I've also had an order placed for some 'new toys' since 1st November, but one item is on back order and is holding the whole order up. When it comes though I will be a VERY happy chappy ;) Christmas present to myself!
