Too many cables and leds and stuff

Basically, when fitting my new PSU this morning I thought that there are too many fan wires, led wires and stuff.

Can I sort of merge them all into one item that would be tidier.

How can I do this?

Get yourself some cable ties / zip ties of varying lengths for starters and have a look in the case central thread for ideas on how other people do their cable management. You can get extenstion cables for most things which enables you to tuck them out of view or route them behind your Motherboard as well.

You can cable tie them together, and then use cable braid to cover them.
You cannot merge them into one wire, but you can make it look like ione wire.

Pretty much this... Personally however I'm not sure I'd cable braid them, just because it's a pain if you want to take one LED out or something, because you then have to unbraid etc....

I'd just say, Cable tie them, and hide them away somewhere

the issue is, there is nowhere decent to hide them away. One thing that i think would help tidy up is:

1.) a sort of multi socket box of either fan headers or molex plugs.

2.) Soldering 2 fan wires togther.

you can quite easily make a multiblock up.

Power it with 1 molex, and solder fan headers to stripboard. Its easy enough to make a string of molex connectors, just make sure you have the correct wires for the load.

You can include a pic of the inside of your case and we can help tidy it up, pointers etc.

Hi, Any chance you could either post a photo or draw a diagram of what you imagine this stripboard with fan headers to be like.

I will post a photo of the case internals sometime but have removed a lot of stuff today so it would be pointless at the moment.

I have just had a look at another online etailer where I get my watercoolling stuff from and found a product that should enable me to move my entire watercooling kit into one side of my case which would keep it tidier. So just waiting on a reply from them and I should be on my way!
