Anybody here going?

Trying to pursuade some of my lot to go. We all like it but quietly appreciate the genre from time to time as opposed to 24/7 however I quite fancy something different from a night out and couldn't think of a better way to kick off 2011.

I know a few of us here are fans of the podcasts and wondered if anybody has been to any of their events before?

i'm tempted, it's just whether i can generate interest with my mates (only a few of them like d'n'b)

i went to hospitality in Bath just over a month ago, and it was awesome! had danny byrd, netsky and camo & krooked play.

as long as the crowd is better in london (emo-kids @ dnb nights = annoying), then it should be an absolute corker :)

I've been the a couple at Heaven and Matter (RIP :(). Always a great buzz, worth it if you have any mates into clubbing.

Thought I was going to miss this, as I'm flying back here from London after new years, but now I'm going over to our offices there on friday, so I'm staying and making a weekend of it. :D

So now I'm doing two awesome Fabric nights in short succession: FWD>>Rinse on boxing day, and Hospitality on the 7th. \o/

Been to a Hospitality at Matter, and their last London at Brixton Academy. Neither disappointed, at all. Belting nights.

Matter (RIP :()
Rumoured to be re-opening next year. :)

I'm probably more excited about this than I am New Years. Looking foward to getting the drinks in, head down and hands up and generally dancing like a plonker :D

Most likely be an all night job catching the first train out in the morning :)

without a doubt; every time i've been up to london for a night at fabric, the end (RIP), matter (also RIP) etc, it's the red eye, looking shifty mission home in the morning :D

gotta love the look on the morning commuters' faces :p

My favourite was coming back from the one at Brixton. 6am: An entire tube full of half-dead ravers talking absolute crap, and an elderly couple seemingly on their way to the train station/airport, looking thoroughly bewildered. Ace.

Looks like the tickets are either sold out or have stopped being sold for some reason. I've got two but the rest of my friends were too slow in getting theirs.

Someone selling 8 on ebay for £50 each!

I'd suspect they have sold out. Events like this go really fast....
I liked hospitality at matter that was mental but nothing has quite beaten it. Even fabric is a bit hit or miss nowadays.

If you could find out what the deal is, whether they're sold out? or if they're going to be available on the door? then that'd be great :)
"Plenty" of tickets on the door, according to the email I got this morning.

Whether that's worth the effort is something I'm going to have to decide on closer to the date, with the group of us that may want to go.

Kool thanks. If the lads can't get in then I'll flog my tickets and we'll end up elsewhere. Told them weeks ago to get their tickets

I'd be wary of buying tickets on the door... I tried to see Andy C there a few years ago, doors opened at 10pm and I got there at 8pm along with well over 1000 other people. We were literally queueing streets away, and after 2hrs were nowhere near the door.

Gave up in the end and went elsewhere, but buying in advance (unless you're Benny's mates!) is definitely the sensible option.

Yeah, not been to Fabric yet, but at least Farringdon's not too far away from places if the queue is massive.

Mind you, if this weather sticks, waiting outside will be the last thing anyone wants to try, so my idea will go down like a lead balloon.
