done it...
I have ordered it!
I can't believe it, I have been posting, asking about cases for 1 week, and I was about to get a NZXT phantom, but that side fan compatibiloty problem with big CPU coolers made me change my mind.

It is not a very good reason is it?
wanted the fractal design r3 but cooling not fantastic and only 2 5.25 bays... annoying for me.
lancool k62 loved the screwless stuff.

wanted the inside of the case painted like the outside...

wanted hot swappable bay
have usb3

I know the design is totally different but....
and it's not that much more expensive compared to the NZXT

just wanted to share that.
I shouldn't be disappointed

I was the same - toying with the idea of getting an X or similar, then my cousin asked me if I had any use for a HAF 932 and I bit his arm off (not literally, that would've been messy lol)

You won't be disapointed! looks great! SO much room inside (next to my old P182 anyway!)

Only downfall I found was the HDD caddys aren't very good for dampening vibrations - nothing a simple shock cord mod didn't cure though :)

Welcome to the HAF crew

cheers dude!

Major benefit the HAF X has over the 932 is the black interior - they did do a 932 Black Edition with (yep, you guessed it) black internals, but unfortunately my cousin didn't have one of those lol

It's a great case and you'll be more than happy with it. More so if you have some really hot graphics cards to keep cool. :)

the case is incredibly intimidating in the dark, especially with red cathodes, more fans than you can shake your pecker at. love it.

Will the HAF X case take a huge CPU cooler like the Corsair A50?

The cooler is 160mm tall, and only just fits in my CM STC Stacker, which is a huge case :)

Can't decide which case to buy, Corsair 600T, HAF X, Lanboy Air, or something else like a Dark Fleet DF-85 :)

the specs are actually wrong, dont know its its been updated, but, its actually 600mm tall not 595mm which makes a bigger difference, my components look diddy inside

Got my HAF X today, happy so far, but cannot seem to be able to screw the wheels on the bottom. Seems like the screws are the wrong size or something :( Just don't want to go in, and I don't want to force them (like self tappers)

Anyone else had this problem?

My 932 wheel screws needed a bit of force to convince them to go in - I think it's so you're guaranteed a good firm fit

I ended up going back to the feet though as the wheels on the desk just didn't look right

glad you like it pal, i reckon it to mary poppins bag, or even a tardis, electronics look so diddy inside, as for fitting on feet, are you keeping it on the ground ? silly question but the hard drive vibrations will eventually push it off the desk if you keep it there, i learnt this mistake :P had to do some ninja moves. god knows why i put the feet on :\

Mine is gonna be on the floor. I have a big desk with 2 PC monitors on it, and an Apple Mac, so not much room for the HAF X Beast to go on top!

It seems the holes are tapped, then the case is painted, so all screws are a tight fit, at first anyway, especially tough if your not using the correct screwdriver ;)
Got the feet attached no problem with a decent screwdriver and some 'guidance'
