I can see I'm going to have problems with the Megapack 3 download. It's around 3.5GB in 7 parts and even then there's always the common problem of corrupt downloads.

Can I ask a favour of someone? If I pay postage and send a load of blank DVD's for your time, can you shove the Megapack on a DVD and send it out to me?

I just don't fancy wasting 3.5GB of my mobile broadband allowance only to find out that some of the download is corrupt! :(

Managed to order this for £14.99 myself as well, can't wait for it to turn up!
 
One thing I dislike is that it's near impossible to sell any players. I had so many good players (that couldn't get in my 1st 11) that could walk straight into most Premier league teams leaving for free. Even offering the players to teams for nothing, they still wouldn't take them. And they are not on huge wages either.

On a similar note, teams bid the true value for my top players but expect me to fork out 5 times the amount of their real value for their top players. The devs need to balance this out a little.

This really gets to me too, can offer 1.5m players who do really well in the championship (same as me) for half their value, not even a low offer...
 
I'm having problems removing dead wood as well.

Seems teams are very unwilling to stump up any decent amount of cash for good players.

I'd love to be able to start a game as one of the up and coming sides and clear out, just can't.

The game just doesn't seem to understand that when you move up divisions you need to get rid of players...
 
Just finished my first year.

To say i found this game a bit easy was an understatement. I played as spurs and won the Trebble. I was expecting to try and get 4th but to win 3 cups was crazy good, Spurs fans think im a legend now :D


EPL, League cup and champions league (beating AC milan and united on the way)

I bough sanchez and Dzeko and just smashed must teams to bits including thrashing united 6-1 in a Champions league semi final. Dzeko bagged 28 goals and VDV was just a legend. Brought Lakuka for the future but he already seems to be at least as good as defoe and has scored almost everything i have played him

I would also like to say i lost the last 3 prem games because i played reserves as i had it won by 4 games to go. VDV and Modric also broke there legs two months from the end if the season

I'm not having a problem selling players really.

You have to remember that there isn't as much cash around most leagues any more, you're not going to be getting teams bidding large amounts for transfer listed reserves. I also found that when I offered them out not many bid but if I left them listed for a few weeks then the bids would start to come in.

Never had any bids come in for listed players, I had Livaja snapped up by Man City, board accepted their 2.something million bid after I had him for like 4 months on a free.

Offered out a few players, but never get above their value, but can never buy a player for under their value or even their normal value.
 
tip for evey one who dosnt know ;) buy Alberto Paloschi hes around 20-21 and cost 10 - 15 mill and then play him as a poacher and evey season he gets better and better hes gettin 40ish goals out of 42 matchs per season for me

Why would you get above their value for a player you don't want?

And yes you can buy a player for under their value, either when listed or they're offered to you usually.

Who did you sell to be able to get Dzeko and lukaku?
 
My copy turned up yesterday got home to find a normal sized dvd package with a massive round thing sticking up the side... I was wondering what the hell it was.

Turned out to be a football!! Got FM2011 and a mini football for £14.99. Was not expecting that! :D

Ah, that probably explains why the postman left me a note saying it wouldn't fit through my letterbox today!

I'll have to pick mine up tomorrow. I'm not too bothered as I'm not going to be playing it until I get the Megapack 3 facepack sorted out.

Yeah I bought him in my first season for around £10m. He hasn't played much for me, but does score when I do play him. Definitely one for the future.

My main front 4 to choose from are currently:

Sergio Aguero - Cost me £52m, lol
Tevez - £10m
D. Sturridge - Nothing, he is obviously a Chelsea player at the start of the game
Khouma Babacar - Around £17m I think (could be wrong, but it was quite a lot I think)

They all bang the goals in, it's ridiculous!!! Sturridge's stats aren't great but he ALWAYS scores. Babacar is also amazing!
