Day of Sick :(

im off sick today too, with a chest infection

on antibotics for a week now, and nothing

so im sitting in doors reading Tax Treaties, with Star Trek and Adverts for pay day loans in the back ground
 
I had monday and tuesday off sick, sunday night i woke up at 4am, stomach pains. Ended up throwing up from both ends at the same time! not enjoyable.

Never eating from that chinese takeaway again :p

Get it right, you had a cold. If you had flu, you wouldn't be getting out of bed for several days never mind going back to work the next day! ;):rolleyes:

They also don’t get any medals for dragging themselves in and their workplace will survive without them.

Personally when im ill i get nagged that "oh we're so busy" "oh ofsted is coming up we really need you back asap".........but then that's because im the only one capable of doing my job around here :p
 
Im going off work soon for surgery. Il be off for over a month. Its feels horrible taking time off but theyll survive. Got to think of you first!! Get well all you poorly people!!
 
It's hard to know when you're properly ill or just have a sniffle, they tend to creep up on you.

Talking of day of sick - had norovirus last winter, never again!

Never again to the norovirus or never again to a day off sick? :p As i think you only really have a choice in the matter on one of them :D (and colleagues wouldn't thank you for that choice!)

The worst part is the knowledge that you have to clean the damn floor afterwards, when really your just feeling like you want to walk away and leave it for someone else :(
 
I got sick after making the effort to get in to work during the snow last week at 5:30am every morning and night 3.5mile walk each way. Went home early on Friday, did nothing but stay in bed all weekend, called in sick on the Monday and still only just getting over it today. Didn't help flying to Dam on Tuesday and truly messing my sinuses up. Sinisitus i think this is as it's just the same pain and feeling as after I got that from scuba diving too.
 
Another norovirus victim here. Took a day off last week.

Was sick in my car on the way to work which sucked.

Was literally gushing from both ends.

Also the stomach pains were awful. Couldn't keep any liquid down at all.
