2k family car, estate, MPV, real world 30mpg+

And the Golf's ABYSMAL in the snow, 225 tyres help no end, lol!

As for the recommendations, don't really like the Focus much, and it's probably a little small, but a nice 2.0 Ghia/Ghia X Mondeo sounds good, something along the lines of this one - clicky

My thinking is they'll probably give me sweet FA if they write my car off, and my 'stiff neck' will buy me a better car, is that wrong?

They'll give you market value for your car, you will only get sweet FA if your car is worth sweet FA or you are daft enough to accept sweet FA.

If you put a fake whiplash claim in, then you are... no wait, I don't want to get banned.

While it isn't the right thing to do, and I do not condone it.

It is very likely that if you had an accident that was your fault, they would claim whiplash straight away. :(

No wonder if everyone has as little morals as you.

Well funny you say that, when I had an accident I didn't claim whiplash even though the lady hit me with a fair whack. So clearly my morals are fine

And did I say I agree with it?

Small update, just had the repairers on the phone with their estimate, £2445, lol!

Think that might just make it a total write off, just waiting for a phone call off my insurance company now to let me know either way.

So, think I'm definitely looking for a car now, and quite fancy the idea of a 2wd/4wd vehicle such as the Honda VR-V, HR-V, etc, anyone got any opinions on them please?
