The part at the end of a headphone cable came out. How do I fix this? Don't want to send them back as its £10 to repair them and I paid £15 for them.

The metal part came out.

the 3.55mm one. It just popped out of the housing. I can push it back in but have to fiddle with it and then can only get sound coming out of the left speaker.

Ah ok. Well in that case, there is no way of fixing it, bar a patching up job. It might be fixable, depends if the connection to the cable is damaged. A patching up job will probably only last so long before it fails completely though.

Are not they brand new with a warranty?

How come you can't send them back under warranty then? What did the place you bought them say about it?

If they had been abused, then it's understandable that warranty would not cover it. Seeing as the jack just came out of the housing, that's a defect, and the warranty should be honoured.

I bought them from an amazon seller. I sent him a message asking for an exchange but I haven't heard back.

These headphones have a lifetime warrenty but getting them repaired costs almost as much as the headphones themself.

Real bummer as these headphones sound amazing. Feel like 99p headphones though. Only downside to them. The build quality is really bad.

I bought pair of sennheiser px100 for £40 but even though these sound good, the bass is way too annoying. I don't mind a little bass but the bass on these overpower everything else. I don't get why people enjoy thumping bass.

Ouch, £40 for the PX100's? I have them too, mine were £18, but that was almost 2 years ago now. Sennheiser started charging more for their products not so long back, too much IMO. £40 for the PX100's is a lot. Just wondering, did you get the PX100 II's? They are around the £40 mark.

Going back to the Koss', quite a few people have commented on the build quality. If you get no joy with the seller, maybe it's worth contacting Koss, see what they say.

Yea, it was the II's and they go for around £30 on amazon but I wanted headphones right away once my koss ones broke and bought the II's from hmv.

I've already contacted Koss and they say it'll cost £10 to get them fixed plus what ever I have to pay to get them shipped there.

How did it break? Normal use? If so, and its only been a couple of days, take them back! They are clearly not of decent enough quality!

He can't get a response from the seller on the rain forest jungle site. Probably the reason why so many avoid sellers on such sites, and the famous auction site etc. If it was A***** themselves, they would sort it out, but I don't know if anything can be done if the seller wont play ball.

Some lifetime warranty that, well done Koss.

As a general rule I believe they do have some power persuading market place sellers, after all most people are willing to put that extra bit of effort in when faced with a ban ;) Good point made though, there's almost nothing I'll buy from non-reputed sellers, for me the market place sellers are for books only.

Got a feeling the lifetime warranty applies only to the USA. Even so, they will have a year warranty, minimum.

If you get no response from the seller, contact A***** direct, and see what they about the matter.
