Phenom II x4 840T

Is this chip worth getting? Has anyone read any reviews and is the Zosma core any better for overclocking than the Thuban? Thought from anyone welcome

is the Zosma core any better for overclocking than the Thuban?

I believe Zosma is a Thuban core with two cores disabled so in theory overclocking would be the same . . . although with less heat and power usage from just four cores perhaps Zosma would have been a bit easier to clock . . .

I think AMD® pulled this chip at the last minute because it would have outmoded the regular Deneb based QuadCores due to its turbo mode etc . . . also it may have impacted the sales of Thuban HexCores due to people buying and unlocking the Zosmas back into Thubans!

Would have been a good product . . . just not really a natural space to wedge it into the AMD® processor line-up . . .
