Xbox 360 auto switch off?

I'm planning on using my Xbox 360 as a DVD player at night, however I don't like the thought of my Xbox being on overnight. Is there a setting that will make the console turn off after a certain amount of time?

Buried in the system settings yeah.

Guide button, all the way to the right and have a wee nosey. Shuts down after ~6 hours. Although by the time the films finished and the 6 hours has passed you'll probably be awake again

Silly how you can only choose 6 hours! Grr.

Just set your alarm for 10 mins after the film finishes and switch it off yourself.

It's not like you have to get out of bed either, just use the controller.

Why can't you turn it off yourself? or put the socket on one of those timer things to switch off?

I fall alseep watching TV otherwise I find it hard to get asleep lol.

I don't think I could fall asleep with my xbox on. Too much noise!
