Fallout: New Vegas

Yeah on my first playthrough he didn't offer, but he did on the second.

When you give him someone to kill, and he asks you how you knew it was them, it's worth saying "I just didn't like him" just so he goes mental ^^

haha i did the same thing. he was really disgusted with me when i said that :D needless to say i blew his brains out.

Same...but then I reloaded the savegame because I was trying to keep a high karma lol.

Accidentally stumbled into the Deathclaw cave last night and was confronted by a legendary deathclaw, took 8 headshots with the anti-material rifle and the lives of my companions to bring it down!

havent found the deathclaw cave yet... only come across one deathclaw and that was a babby one. pretty hard to kill even for a small little thing.

i dread seeing a legendary cazador though. damn i HATE those things. they are so fast. if you see one, before you know it, its flown over to you, stung you, and you're dead >=(

try laser weapons, a lot easier to kill the cazadors

Deathclaw cave is called "dead wind caverns", and is a little west of Novac. It (and the deathclaws that patrol outside) are visible from a place called "Harper's shack" that is nearby.

To be honest, if you're having trouble killing baby deathclaws, then DO NOT go near dead wind cavern :p Best to try it at level 20+ with some good weapons in your arsenal.

the legion are scumbag slavers. NCR have a much more sound way of thinking.

Indeed, I would have much preferred if both groups were morally grey with heroes and villains on both sides instead of the very black and white way they ended up in the game.

I know the NCR were responsible for the Bittersprings slaughter but that doesn't really come close to the CLs approach of hang em high.

I must have accidentally stumbled into that cave as well, wasn't too bad though as I managed to pick off a couple of the surrounding Deathclaws without the Legendary one noticing allowing me to tackle him on his own. A nice critical headshot took a fair chunk of his health and a couple more shots from the sniper rifle downed him. Took a few tries though :o

Of course, I did get ambushed by a large group of deathclaws on my way out of the cave which I barely survived :o

I was very lucky when I came across that thing, I ended up being on a ledge over-looking it allowing me to kill it off at my leisure. I would also like to jump on the "I hate Cazador" bandwagon, the buzzing sound always fills me with dread

There used to be a big slave trading/holding centre outside the NCR capitol city, like within a stones throw of the entrance, they didn't seem to care.

The slave holdings were there on the basis of leaving your slave outside of the NCR as it was illegal to have any within.

Really?

I always wondered why it was there, either way i'm pretty sure I stole a bozar from an ncr gaurd and slaughtered them all.

Slaves included, i just wanted to test my gun.

Is it normal for weapons to default to standard ammo when selected?
If I select .308, Hollow Point for my gun and switch to a different one with a hotkey and then back, why does it use the default .308 ammo instead?

Vault 34

Potential minor spoilers

Just had the pleasure of trying to storm through Vault 34 before I died from RAD poisoning . Biggest challenge in the game so far. Umpteen glowing ones etc. Some great rewards in there though ;).

I watched that on Youtube, constant radiation and quite a puzzle to find the loot, did you go thru it all in the end?

Yeah, I got through it all, but I had to go and get fixed up at the clinic for radiation half way through, despite having a space suit and 10 of each of radaway / rax-x. I had Veronica with me who was equipped with a 'Pushy'. This helped greatly :D.

There was however a box that I couldn't open...required 100 lockpick, I have 31 :p. Not sure what's in it. I will go back and find out when or if I ever get to 100 lockpick. I doubt I will since levelling will stop improving well before that point (unless I patch it).
