i want to know if these are reliable for my new build?
amd athlon x2 ii
graphics havent got but will get gts 250,9800gt or a 4870 something around that?

i was gunna get a corsair 430 watt but i need the modular as im using an xigmatek asgard?

Anyone know who the OEM is for these? The PSUs are not outragously cheap so I'm guessing that it's a "trusted brand" with a new badge? Perhaps last years model..

They are Powercool units if i remember right. Personally i would'nt touch one with a bargepole.

They have the same manufacturer number, and you see the same pictures on competitor's sites. So I would need some convincing that they weren't powercool units.

I also would never own one, nor recommend one.

Scone I think the cheapest, known reasonably quality, modular power supply you're likely to get is an OCZ ModXStream.

I got the OCZ Battle PSU and so far it's running fine. I've had expensive PSUs in the past and had trouble with them my cheap one in the last build never failed.

I take it you mean ocuk battle PSU, not OCZ.

Anyway, I wouldn't touch one either.

There is no reason for use of cheap Chinese capacitors unless product is disposable.
