Every pole ive met/worked with was friendly and decent.

Also find it funny that your sig links to a polish website... written in polish? Yet you dont read polish?

Jusd sayin :p

yeah same as everyone from every other countries i've meet , talk about generalisation.

the whole point of the topic is when i knocked on there door to ask them to stop they say they dont speak english.

Try this:

How come the link in your sig goes to a Polish website? By the way, I don't think Natives would even understand that note, let alone foreigners.

Every Pol I've spoke to has known English... some only know basic English but they still understand. Your neighbours are having you on.

Well yes I was off topic. Also calling polish people friendly is a generalisation, but hardly a negative one and is based on the 10-15 or so poles I have met.

Nice hostile reply also. Were you friendly and polite when you knocked on their door? Or did you go straight to the part about the police/council.

Maybe you need to work on your interpersonal skills and not your polish ;)

Leave them a note in English, it's really not your problem that they don't want to communicate with you or understand you.

simulatorman's translation is more or less grammatically correct, you can use that if you want to.

I'd rather speak to the police about it if their behaviour is unacceptable. You probably don't want to be accused of racial hatred or get them to dislike you even more.

Is it just the children that annoy you much? Maybe they're just being kids? Drop them a Christmas card, see if that helps.

On the side note, your English writing skills bring you closer to Polish than you'd think. I wonder why?

Try this:

Minor fixes - he'll have no way of saying he doesn't understand this (if he's an ass enough to claim he can't speak English, he may as well claim he can't understand your note as it's not grammatically correct - not so with what I wrote).

EDIT: Typos.
