The Sopranos Ending SPOILERS DUH!

idiots that write and say he's died....

when did we see him die? The facts state he was alive when the series ended so he did not die. Reading anything into that is just stupid. It just shows that's the life he leads, he will never be able to truly relax and enjoy his family while he lives that kind of life.

Clearly you're a polite, positive lad who's always interested in debate.

Read my post, it explains my reasoning, it's not encrypted and i'd hardly rate it as an idiots post. If you believe every film and television show is only about what meets the eye then i feel sorry for you.

On reflection I've given that post far more attention than it deserves seeing as you started with an insult so i replace it with this:

Neeerrrrr neeeeeerrrrrr *raspberry*

Tony gets shot in the head by the “Never hear it Happen” concept

Tony's Point of view:
0:26 - Bell rings, Tony looks up, Checks the entrance.
0:37 - Bell rings, Tony looks up, Checks the entrance.
0:54 - Bell rings, Tony looks up, Sees Carmella.
2:13 - Bell rings, Tony looks up, Sees guy and then AJ
3:57 - Guy goes into the toilet to collect gun ( Godfather reference )
4:30 - Bell rings, Tony looks up, Sees Black ( “Never hear it Happen” )

I see your point but, somewhat ironically, it's idiotic. You're basically casting aside the whole notion of subtext, an incredibly powerful and well thought of tool in film making.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but i'm saying your reasoning is terrible.

The black screen is David Chase leaving it up to the viewer to decide what they think should happen, there's no right or wrong answer, just your own interpretation!

Exactly.
He didn't answer it, you answer it yourself.
RDM said the same when he was planning the end of BSG, and wished he had thought of the fade to black first.

Was there any reference in the Sopranos to five crime families in New York ? As I saw it they had only the one and no mention of the real state of play in New York and the Bonnano, Genovese, Lucchese, Columbo and Gambino families that dominated La Cosa Nostra in NYC.

yeah im in a bad mood today, lost a mate to cancer after going to her wedding 7 weeks back :(

just being a bitch to everyone. sorry

i do believe he did not die and with the whole last 4 mins, the music builds up (crap song but hey) , you are drawn to things Tony sees, like the guy at the bar, he's constantly on edge, showing the life he leads, its a clever ending, but for me i see no reason to think he died.

the bit about the guy going to the toilet to get a gun, cos it happened in the god father is stupid, that happened because the dude knew he would be searched, unlike in a common burger joint.
