Do they catch you from behind?
It appeared to be more facing the oncomming traffic, is there a chance it got me too?

Truvelo's can do both front and rear facing.

But typically they will be on the side of the road they are attempting to catch, and will have the piezoelectric lines on the road.

The piezoelectric lines went directly across the road. The camera was on my side of the road, but was angled more towards the opposite side.

Well I thought that if you obviously hadn't been interested in the second link in Google for Truvelo headed - "Truvelo speed cameras explained" - then perhaps you needed shooting
