Spec is in my sig.

Cheers guys

That is about spot on for the 950 and 4GHz. What are your voltages like? Once you have established your overclock you can slowly start to find the optimal voltage settings. Take tiny amounts of vcore and vTT away till you notice instability. I was able to significantly reduce my thermal load that way. True it did take forever (running prime for a few hours each time) but is worth it in my view.

Just did another test after re-applying some arctic silver 5, heat sink is on ok, are these temps acceptable? running stable no problem at all, heres the pic

Jesus I just can't stop testing:mad:

Theyre very good, mine are a bit lower, only reason being is that my pc is kept in a room with no heating, great for cool running, not great for comfort. Like a friend of mine said once, his house was a passion killer, you had to put clothes on going to bed.:D

Safe temps are higher then you currently have, so no need to worry, your temps are more then fine.

a lot are happy with them in the mid 80's your lower then that, so no need to worry.

Yep, ive actually considered upping my clockspeed now that it's colder, i hit a max of 65c at load now, (LinX/IBT), may try for 4.2ghz.

Id love to mate, but im only on air cooling, (prolimatech super mega + dual vipers), been clocking my gpu's this week, hit a modest 800/1600/1700, have to whack the gpu fans up pretty high when running benchmarks, guys on watercooling are hitting 850+ on the gpu cores, (shaders linked) and 2000 memory, coupled with 4.3ghz+ cpu's. To watercool my current setup would cost a small fortune.
