At least I now think it's a scam artist. It's one of those profiles of a lass who only has three friends (myself included) and is way too attractive to actually be single and have so few FB freinds lol.

She (probs a he) has their location set to the same town I live in and likes a lot of video games (suspicious). Also they apparently go to the same uni as me, which is wyhy I added them as I wasn't really thinkign and just saw a hot profile pic and the same Uni name so just clicked accept. Now they've posted on my wall saying "Hey yo! you sexy mofu i like your info section :D xxx"

She sounds American in they way she's communicating. Nobody round my town would speak like that. I'm now 90% sure it's a scam artist (who has now seen my info such as birthday and friends) but it could also be a legit random person who has added me on a whim.

Has anyone else added a suspicious person before by mistake or ortherwise? What happened? What are the implications?

Cheers, also, lol I'm a *** :D

S(he) will most likely sending you join xyz cam site too watch me messages next. I've done it a few times before when I was adding people for FB games and didn't notice that the hot picture wasn't just some guy that likes a hot picture on his profile.

And we have a winner for most pointless weekend thread! \o/

I came in and expected stories of how someone had one upped a scammer. Thread failed to deliver.

Is that what's deemed hot these days? Looks like a dwarf * to me

* of the lord of the rings variety.

A quick reinstall of facebook should .... you know what, I can't be bothered with it today.
