Last month I ordered an Antec TP-650W PSU from a competitor. They were only asking £58 inc delivery, and their website showed the item in stock.
When nothing arrived after a week I sent them an email.
They said "We didn't really have stock. We should have let you know." But they didn't. "More stock due in next week!"
A week later I contacted them again.
"Supplier let us down. Sorry, try again next week!"
Third week - "Yeah, we didn't get any this week either. Next week for sure!"
Fourth week - they've stopped answering my emails. I phoned them, they promised to phone me back the next day with a confirmed delivery date. Never got that phone call. They still have my money.
Captain Hindsight popped in today to tell me I should have ordered from OcUK when they had that promotion on. We talked about how it sucks to find a "bargain" which turns out to be too good to be true, and how you should probably stick to the retailers you trust in future.
Do I get a "cool story, bro!" for this?
