overclocking on Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L?

Yeah I have read the guide and even had another person helping me it's just the overclock isn't sticking so I will try doing what you said in the other forum.

Psu = corsair 400w
CPU = E5300

Did you save the settings when you left bios?

Is the clear cmos jumper in the correct position?

Sorry for the silly questions, but you never know. lol ;)

All sorted - a updated bios and he has been clocking away merrily. The OP has another thread here going in some detail about his adventure. :D

If youre mobo has vcore control in the bios then 3.4Ghz should be as easy as upping the FSB to 1066 and increasing your vcore if needed.

It does have vcore control, we where just helping him sort out why clocks where not sticking, 1day guided him through the bios flashing, and iv slowly been helping him get used to clocking, he is still only on stock cooler.

So i just got him to up it to 3ghz for now, so he can get used to the testing process, he is getting a new cooler soon, so thats when we shall get his cpu a lot higher lol.
