Logitech G27 - Stock expected mid-December!

Hey all, this is my first post, so I'm somewhat a newbie to the Fourm world, anyway:

I'm buying a Logitech G27 wheel for this christmas, and every retailer, including logitech themselves are completely out of stock, or, wheels on amazon are very high prices..

I contacted the awesome people are OCUK and they replied to me that new G27s should be arriving in the middle of December, other sites also say in 10 days time, others state it's on the 27th exactly.

Thought I would post this considering other people havent, I think there are plenty of people clutching their money to buy the awesome wheel.

Edit: around 94 units are thought to be in stock next week.

It's £250 on Logitech's website, £240 on OCUK, and around the same on play.com/amazon.
The prices will shoot up at times due to the small amount, but fingers crossed a hot batch will come by this month. :)

Do not promote competitors.

OMG - I have an opinion and info which I thought would be useful and this is edited to as being promoting some company!!

Rubbish - I could NOT give a rats *rse who I get my orders from so long as they act professionally and don't lie and or rip me off. So when I see or feel that a company appears to do the opposite I don't see why I sould not be in a position to express that POSITIVE feeling/thoughts for the benefit of anyone who wishes to read that. If I'm wrong and people are dumb enuf to absolutely believe everything they read then this is just a life lesson that we all have to learn at some point.

BY THE WAY, the earth IS FLAT !!!!!!!!

I see a LOT of folk on here who do the opposite i.e. complain about companies and if thats the nature of this forum, BEING PRIMARILY NEGATIVE in terms of moderation, then I (as a completly NEW member) may naff off.

Vote for me to leave here or be banned NOW.... It wont hurt and I think I can take it.

that's a big help, I had an idea that stock is in the UK, but not being shown, hope the places will all be in stock by next week :D

Hope we all get our wheels, I'm dying to play F1 2010 on PC with it. Thanks again!
 
Woah, since August huh? I checked the stock today (12th) and BT store says "93 on order - stock delayed". bah, I don't know how much longer it'll be :(

I predict we'll get shipping emails right before christmas, and actuallt getting the G27 just after the 25th :(

I'm checking over 30+ retailers everyday for stock, I will update the fourm if for any news. :)
 
Yep. I'm sure the stock will completely go in no time. I have ordered from Logitech's website, It's been stuck on "order in process" for 3 - 4 days now.
If anything we should see some action next week. :)

aparently I can't promote other retailers names, ***DO NOT PROMOTE COMPETITORS*** *winks* is'nt the best place to get it, OCUK/Logitech themselves are your best bet.

Hope you get yours, high chance we won't by christmas day, but you never know :D
 
For the price I've ordered mine at I'm not too bother how long it takes as long as it turns up. DFGT will keep me happy until it turns up.( still a great wheel but no clutch)

Hey Jonathon,

You naughty boy promoting things BUT surely all this G27 talk is promoting the manufactures themselves or have I missed the point? The biggest profit cut goes to them at the end of the day but heaven forbid the 1-2% margin for resellers goes more to better comapnies than worse ones eh?

G27s from the source I mention before and was edited away say stock now expected 17th (Friday)

It's not about whether it goes to better or worse retailers but think about where you're posting. It's a forum owned by a shop. Why would they let you directly suggest people buy products they sell from somewhere else? :confused:
