Best speakers for £50 ?

Shame Logitech discontinued the Z-10's. They were a good alternative to the T20's. As it is, there is nothing to touch the T20's around the £50 mark.

good stuff, shame Creative's customer service stinks but hopefully I won't have any issues :)

have some 7.1 creatives at moment but the control thingy is on last legs, obv the T20s wont match the bass but as long as they have some

wasn't bothered re 5.1 / 7.1 as I am always knocking cables out and they take up too much space

Yes I have heard many a bad comment about their terrible CS. Logitech on the other hand, appear to have very good CS, going by comments I've read anyway.

I have the older version of the t20, and am very happy with them. Bass is quite impressive considering the size of the drivers, but obviously you can't get a lot of bass from a small speaker/box. Overall I find they are very balanced, tour not going to break any windows with them but at reasonable volume levels I find the overall sound to be very good quality.

They ate a little bright sounding so you may want to turn the bass knob to least 75%. I run mine with the bass at 100% and the treble at the home position at 50%.

For gaming you can get more volume by dialing the bass down a bit to prevent distortion, but to be fair, if they are next to your monitor, on a desk, you probably won't need too.
