Well it certainly wasn't me who blew it like you first claimed, I was watching someone else get teleported away, and then I seem to remember Wyrdo being in all different parts of the map, then we got the lift to go and meet him so he teleported back into the room we had just left. Muppet. :D

Funny topic on the cod forums. Somebody going on about getting banned and this reply pops up
Treyarch is doing their job but they are doing a bad job... my gamertag: PoisonScorpion i been playing xbox for 7+ years (why did Treyarch ban me? yo TitaniumRim i play a lot of black ops so its not my fault i joined a modded room without knowing... i own all the call of dutys so if i cant play online with it i want a full refund on the game cause Treyarch does not care about their fans and i will be calling (800)225-6588... i want to know why i was ban and treyarch is too busy to answer a fans question... it says Error: The Call of Duty: Black Ops server is not available at this time. Please try again later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/status fo updates. All my friends are saying i'm ban... WTF it does not even say i'm ban (WHAT DID I DO AND DONT SAY YOU JOINED A MODDED ROOM CAUSE I DID NOT KNOW AND MY FRIEND WANTED ME TO GET BAN) it has been 4 days and i want my $60 back i have spent $1000+ on cod cause my brother has all the cods i have and this is what they do to me Treyarch is the and me and my family will be calling for some answers. i'm legit 2.22 k/d 3rd prestige and over 10,000 kills with 3d 21h 35m 15s played... so unban me so i can play everyone who works for Treyarch and beat them in black ops oh wait thats why they banned me cause i'm to good so they banned me...

I keep getting drawn back to AK74u with silencer and Ghost/Pro so I guess not :) I like the way you can work a zone when your not appearing on RADAR, oddly though I tend to keep LAW as secondary to take out any drones (spy or counter spy)

If you play solo the quick revive is turned on from the start so it's quicker alone is what i meant!

Gay skeletons cannot produce duck babies, we've been over this!



Edit I've also just realised if you watch Faded of christmas past for a few seconds and try and lip read it actually looks like he's saying "That's Faded" in a cockney accent... try it

Have removed the sites from my post now.

Anybody had problems tonight? I played a few games and they were all bad.
One game of TDM had one player on our team who was 45-5. No idea how he got that! Got bored as I couldn't find anybody to kill.
Next game on array it was 6 on our team,3 on the other team. And then they left.
2 different games there were just 3 players on my team and 2 on the other team. And nobody joined either:mad:
 
How do lag switches work.

Just had a game that turned from us being in control to being dominated and unable to kill anyone it changed when it all stuttered for about a second, no host switch though.
 
The host has an ethernet cable in between his xbox and his router that has been modified, they take one of the wires and put it through a light switch so they can turn the light switch off to stop the data flow, turning it back on before the game realises and decides to migrate host.
It causes everyone else in the game to freeze. The host will see someone, flick the switch, kill them and then flick the switch again.
Never encountered it myself. It's 2010, dedicated servers should be mandatory for all online games.

It wouldn't work to the effect of changing an entire half of a game just short bursts when the host sees people. As for what happened to you I've had exactly the same though, I can be invincible at the start of a game and then appear to not be able to get a hit marker on anybody. It's bloody annoying.
 
Game is winding me up this morning. no one on my screen, i'm dead and wide open on the kill cam and Get a few markers on a guy but get no assist ?!
 
Ordered 50Mb this morning, I'm also in the increased upload area, so wil get 5Mb up.

Being installed Monday, will be interesting to see what that does to my Black Ops experience.
 
I've been looking at FTTC availability, a town 4 miles away is getting it at the end of this month whilst at the same time all we get is ADSL2+ which I'm already on via Be.

I don't think I'm seriously going to bother with this type of game until more players are on fibre including myself ;)

Not a lot I would imagine unless you are on a poor connection in the first place. I have 10mb/512k cable and BLOPS doesn't utilize 5% of the line, hosting or not.

Very little, I'm on that package and already have the 5mb upload. People with terrible connections still get host over me. I'm looking at you Pearlie and Faded! Won't really make any difference to your normal play though.
 
Really?

WTF? I'm on 10Mbps with 1Mbps up and most times between 7pm and 11pm I end up getting host, if that doesn't continue with my new package I will be a little disappointed as it's the only reason I really went for 50Mbps.
