You appear to have a strong opinion regarding this - can you say why?
I'd also like to know this. It would have made for a more balanced OP if nothing else.

Yes really. Do you actually watch the BBC everyday and see how they operate?
Why don't you grow up.

You seem to think asking stupid questions, and blatantly assuming the protester was 'asking for it' is 'hard-hitting.'
That line of questioning would not be tolerated for other victims.
tbh seems to be smart kid with disability makes BBC presenter look like bigot
not news?
He put himself there and got in the polices faces with the express desire for them to take action against him so he could get this sort of attention.
They removed him from the situation for his and their own safety, doing so without causing harm or distress.
Now they put out their video and play the cripple card, it's disgusting imo, he shouldn't be taking advantage of his disability in this way.
Jody McIntyre said:When I was born in East Dulwich hospital, the doctors told my parents I would never walk, and probably wouldn’t talk.
After proving them wrong, and eighteen wasted years of education, I decided to go and see the world, and travelled around South America for three months on my own. While I was out there, Israel committed a massacre in Gaza, and planted the seeds of revolution in my mind. The rest, as they say, is history.
Jody McIntyre said:but the lack of action was somewhat disheartening. You don’t bring down governments by standing around and shuffling your feet.
It wasn’t long before my qualms were settled. People began running toward the far end of Parliament Square, and we followed.
The reason I am infuriated about this is because imagine that was your younger brother of sister being treated like that.
I am sick of the media pushing their crap through the tell lie vision.
People shouldn't have to stand for this.
He said it himself, "he can be perceived as being more vulnerable", the Police removed him from a situation where he was in potential danger, his brother was wheeling him in the chair toward a Police line and they were told to stop, they did not, so the Police removed them as quickly and efficiently as possible. The only injury to Jody McIntyre was to his pride.
No one is supposed to be treated like that on a interview regardless if they are disabled or not.
But to insult peoples intelligence, to suggest that someone with motor skills problem can attack or even throw something at a police officer is an absolute joke.
I mean he was rolling toward the police, don't you understand the severity of that.
He's a highly politically motivated and apparently intelligent young person, why shouldn't he put his point across quite well? He's got a motor disability not downs.
The Police's role is not to incite and create violence like he said either, if the protesters remained on the route that the organisers agreed to then the Police would not have had to use the tactics they did to contain the violence that erupted from within the Protesters.
You are infuriated because I think that's my brother?
Seriously though it was a political interview not someone on wogan pimping their latest book, you aren't supposed to just stand back and let them just put their own side across unchallenged.
I suspect you hold the same anti-government anti-police views as the person being interviewed and wanted them to be given a free ride to broadcast their propaganda.
That's what we call a party political broadcast, not an interview. If he wants to do that he can pay for his own air time.
I didnt mean it like that
Are you saying that the most efficient way to move a guy who can't move himself is by getting a load of police officers to pull him? Surely it would have been easier to get a couple of guys to move the brother back and just wheel him back.
