HTC Desire + Water :(

Tried last night when I got home, was still dead.

When I put the battery back in, before I even try turn it on, the LED that shows orange when charging was flushing blue randomly.

I'll give it a few more days, but I think it'll be totalled after I tried to turn it back on when wet. I know better, but I was very drunk.

and OP , put a claim in on your home contents insurance if youve got any. mobile insurance is a genuine ripoff

It leaves a residue behind, it's a lubricant. Fire would displace water but I wouldn't want to chuck my phone into one to dry it out.
