I'm Level 21 and up to now I've found the game pretty average, honestly. Made worse by the fact that for me it's getting tedious now, I can't be bothered with B-Spec events, why the Hell do I want to sit and watch my Playstation race a car around a track? Five laps around the Tokyo track? No thanks, that's boring. No really great rewards for me personally, everyone else seems to be getting good rewards but I just seem to get worthless crap that I could've done with before I started a championship/race and spent 100,000CR upgrading my car to be within a chance of winning.
A lot of it seems bodged/rushed, this annoys me. "No, don't worry, we'll fix that in a patch!" - No, fix it before the game's released and stop wasting my time, I'm fed up of this stupid nature of relying on patching, release a game which is 'finished' to a good standard for once - this isn't just Gran Turismo 5 but a lot of new games, more of a generalised comment.
Standard/Premium cars. Why? One of the worst decisions ever. Oh and too many different versions of the same model of car. I don't care if it's mainly a Japanese orientated game as I keep reading and that they for some reason need 10 different versions of the Nissan Skyline. It just seems like laziness.
Ok, seems like a harsh post about it so far so I'll list what I like. The Premium cars look great, the physics are good, online seems fine to me so far, Photomode is nice.
No, I'm not a Xbox/Forza fan, I'm mainly PC person and I was looking forward to finally getting to use my PS3 for some long gaming hours but alas, I've been let down again. Back to the PC after four days for me.
