Need to get this out of my system.

I was out last night, had a few drinks with some friends and extended friends. At around 11.30, one friend had to go home...and she was pretty insistent that she drove. She knew before she even came out that she was going to drive back. I don't know exactly how much she drank, but I witnessed her go through 2 pints, and she was drinking something else when we got there too. Either way - well over the limit.

Cue a mini-argument at around 11.30, with me and a friend refusing to get in the car with her - I'm not going to accept a lift with someone who has had drink. Anyway I told her she was immature, irresponsible, blah blah and walked off. She just persisted in saying that she was fine and able to drive... can she really judge her reaction time? :/

She got home safe and everything, but I still think her actions were stupid and dangerous...

Some people, huh.

Agree with you completely, I certainly wouldn't get in a car with someone I knew to be over the limit, I don't care how good they are with alcohol or how good a driver they claim to be.

It was dumb and you should have taken her keys off of her but you didn't, it's done, whatareyagonnado?

Cool story brah.

I don't believe aribritary limits make you safe, I would have judged her ability to drive and made my own decision to accept a lift or not from there.

It's her decision if she wants to lose her license or have a fatal accident and go to jail for it (at fault or not).

Just try to not be standing in front of the car at any point ;)
