Mini Heatsink Roundup! :)

Hey guys.

I have done a mini round up of various coolers. I aim to add more heatinks to the round up on an ongoing basis!

I have a Intel i7 950 CPU clocked to 4.0GHz, sat on an open air bench table to case flow wont affect any results.

So far I have got the following results.

MEGAHALEMS WITH A SCYTHE 2000 RPM FAN

CORSAIR A70 WITH BOTH SUPPLIED FANS

THERMOLABS BADA COOLER - NOT UP TO THE JOB IT THROTTLED THE CPU

THERMOLABS BARAM 2010 COOLER

COOLERMASTER V6GT COOLER

ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER 13 COOLER

I just love real people doing stuff like this. So many of my mates write reviews for different sites and most of them (not all) say nice things about the kit to keep the product coming.

Mate it's an Intel i7 950 with a good overclock running prime. Sub 90deagrees is fine.

If you should still have these at your disposal, please repeat the AC one with a push pull config if you can?

I've got pretty good results from mine (f7P) with push pull. Temperatures are all around 67 under prime load @4ghz.

if its the same clock i put on the board last week then it had a lot of vcore going through it.

that cpu does NOT WANT

I have it, and for it's price it keeps my i5 at 4.2 nice and cool. idles around 35-40

loads up to about 70 around 1.28 vcore.

Now get the NH-D14 tested any see a massive drop in temp to all of those
