My Citroen C3 VTR+ review

Me too VTR+ Sounds like a performance car! Like the old Saxo etall.... Hmmmm 75BHP in a car that big? Hahaha have to managed to get it to 70MPH yet? :D

I have to admit, having looked into the DS3 more i'm somewhat confused.

I was under the impression that the DS3 is a "hot hatch" version of the C3 and came with an engine circa 200hp.

Instead it seems to be the replacement for the C2? And comes with a range of engines, with the DS4 lineup being the true C3 replacement. Correct?

DS3 is probably the only Citroen car I'd be reasonably happy with, Wiki say's it's the replacement for the C2, I assumed the DS2 would be but that's apparently a replacement for the 2CV!

Fair enough, it just sounds like it's the same vain as..

ST
Type R
RS etc

In the days of the Saxo the VTR was quite a quick little hatch, but manufacturers seem to enjoy creating confusion by re-using model/trim names for other things (e.g. Ford's Zetec engine and trim range). You can get a C3 VTR+ with a 1.0L engine pumping out 68bhp :(

Citroen in Redditch gave me a C1 vt 1.0 ltr today as a courtesy car :( . Mine is back in next week to have the cam bet done after only 29,000 miles but if they give me a C1 again i will walk back to work. nasty nasty car .
