The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Just received an email telling me ive got 5,376,000 skill points to spend... Suppose i best re-sub over Christmas and get them used.

I've about 2mill SP to spend on my newer char, nothing from the older one! will try and get them both up for the ships
 
also had a mail today giving 5 free days and my 1.5mil skillpoints from learning, wacked it into drone interfacing lvl 5 + some other drone skills. :)

i doubt ill re-sub again tbh, but might as well use the free time to lvl skills lol
 
anyone got 300mill i can borrow? i wanna buy a charon!, i will start paying back after i buy! please? i earn 10mill a day from mining, ill send 50% of it until iv paid it back! my account is marc1024. I can earn more than 10mill, just depends on my mood. Im using a hulk.
 
Why do you need a charon? With all respect I don't think you'll have much luck borrowing that amount.

You could always setup a courier contract for anything you need moving.

Generally not a good idea in eve to fly anything you can't afford to replace.
 
Another vote for setting up a contract. I bought my charon to move all my gear at once but since then it's sat in the hangar. I think unless you have a plan to make money with it I wouldn't bother.

If your going to be doing some marketing make sure you have an idea of what you will be trading before you buy the charon. It's not an instant money maker just because it can haul lots of bits.

My advice would be to get one of the covert op's transport ships and hit some low sec hubs. I started doing that earlier in the year and it was a lot more exciting than empire trading and the rewards were greater.

dont have any decent electronic skills :( im working my way down to low secs, just went in one yesterday for a courier run.
 
I find low sec exploration to be profitable*, find a nice quiet area, probably in the wastes of Gallente/Minmatar space, maybe Amarr also.

I got an escalation in Gallente low sec once, 4 parts across 3 systems, easily doable in my Ishtar, dropped some Corelum stuff which I sold for around a billion ISK, they were only medium mods as well :)

The other times the decryptors and skill books can help tick over the ISK as well as the bounties on some combat sites.

*Edit no where near as level 4 missions granted but I find it more fun :D

Hi guys, I've been trying startrek online and not finding it any fun at all so just bought "Commissioned Officer Edition", but I'd like to dive in now as this may take 5-10 days to arrive with xmas/weather.
Can I go the 14 day trial route then put then code in for this when I receive it?

should be able to, btw there used to be a 21day trial on steam.

i know you could do the 21day trial then buy the old version of the game and it would add 30days playtime on to the already 21days of the trial
