Hey there people. I've decided to make my first computer and I am completely lost as near enough most people will be! (I hope, unless I'm in a boat load of trouble.)

Now, my question is that the set I've put together work?

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-233-GI Intel H55 Processor

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-313-IN&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=1672 Intel Core i5

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-287-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1516 Corsair DDR3 4GB memory

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-104-SA&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat= Samsung Spinpoint 1TB 32MB Cache Hard Drive

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-001-TP&groupid=46&catid=1597&subcat= Wireless N PCI adapter

www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-239-AS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1863 Asus Geforce Graphics card

Now all of that will hopefully sit in this case: www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-022-NX&tool=3 NZXT Phantom White Case

Oh yeah! I forgot! Do I need this as well? www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-117-AN&tool=3 It's an Antec PSU.

Now have I got everything covered? Will all of that stuff work? Have I left anything major out? I have got a keyboard, mouse and monitor there, but I doubt I need to link them.

Please help a newcomer to building a PC :)

Stulid thanks for the speedy reply :)

I'll have another look at the cases and PSU and see if there is a nice cheaper case.

Other than the CPU problem, it should all work?

Yep :)

Cheers guys :)

When I was looking through my list again (It's break time on the telly, and I've misplaced my book...)

With that hard drive will I get 1TB of space entirely or just the 32MB Cache?

I quite literally have next to no idea over computer components. Other than I need to match the sockets on the CPU and Motherboard.

Edit: Yeah, that's a really nice case. Should I get that one instead?

Thanks with the help over the Hard drive, RJC I just noticed your list... I'll bookmark both cases and decide what one I want when I come to that bridge.

Right then, I've updated my list to the GTX460, the double sticks, PSU and cases. I just have to decide now >.<

Thanks a lot Stulid and RJC, Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Well then I'll upload them around Feb/Mar when this compensation for being flooded comes through :D You'll be first to know!

Oh and because I'm nosy, as you know with my inquisitive mind, in your picture: Is that a Sewer line, a power line or a missile?

Refrigeration plant I look after at one of my sites I go to :)

The black bit is the evaporator, and the top part is the compressor.

And my internet has just become very slow!!!

i asked the very same question a while back and you're about to be very surprised :p

Haha :D :p

Holy crap on a crapsicle... I have no idea what that is... Google gave me that it moves heat using gas liquid and mechanical energy.

Hey man. Thanks for being one of the few who actually are trying to help out the ozone :)

RJC's lying. He's a government doctor, and he uses that as a torture colonoscopy...

Can you imagine the pain??

Otherwise I still don't have a clue.
