If I order from play whats the chances of me recieving item?

They are unlikely to give unbiased advice which would harm sales in the peak shopping period of the year, as would any other online retailer.

Yes, but the people here are 100% going to give 'advice' that is completely useless. He might as well walk outside and ask a random passerby their opinion as it'd be as much use as anything anyone here will say.

If the OP actually asks Play they may well say it'll be there in time but if it doesn't turn up (which, lets face it, 5 working days before christmas is likely to happen) at least he'll be able to complain (which often results in a freebie of some kind with this sort of thing) if they said it will be there in time.

I ordered the Boston Legal box set from them about a week ago. The courier have had it since the 16th. My road is fairly clear as well but I doubt it will arrive before Christmas.

Actually, finding the opinions of a large amount of people and averaging it out is often the best way of finding an accurate answer.

Certainly, but in this instance surveying people to see if he should order or not will not provide him with an accurate answer. It'll just tell him that some people think it will arrive in time and that some won't.

Now, if you can provide some mathematical proof that asking an online forum if he will get his parcel in time will provide him with the correct answer I'm all ears, if not, well we've just proved how pointless this thread was.
